Renaissance Fair

We had heard through the grapevine at Brent's work that the Renaissance Fair was a pretty neat thing to attend as a family so after some research we decided what the heck, should be a great time and experience for all of us.
We were right it really was fun and sooo much bigger than I thought it would be. We were there for about 3 hours and still did not get to see everything. We did however get to ride and elephant, meet a mermaid, go on an old fashion merry go round, watch a fireblower do all sorts of neat tricks, saw a queen,  saw a jousting tournament, looked at and judged a lot of fairy houses, and Jayden and Tyra tried jumping on a trampoline with bungee cords attached so they would go flying high up in the air!!! It was so much fun and I highly recommend going to anyone in the area.

This is the Merri-go-round. They spin it around so the ropes twist around the post and then just let it go! I could hear all the kids and Brent screaming the whole time. I think it went faster than they were expecting!:)

The Jousting Tournament

Tyra was really excited and not as nervous as I thought she would be. She loved it.

Jayden kept going back and forth from completely laughing to a look of terror. It was hilarious! In the end he said he liked it though.
