Busy, Busy, Busy!

It has been so crazy around here, but extremely fun. We've had alot of visitors passing through. Aaron and Sarah, Brent's brother and wife, came to stay with us Thursday night. My brother, George, and his family stayed with us on the fourth, and my sister; Jessica and Craig and family stayed with us Sunday night and Aaron is staying with us again on his return home tonight! Whoo it's been busy! We absolutely love visitors though and have enjoyed seeing everyone.

On the fourth Brent and I took the kids to the parade and they made bank with all the candy! So needless to say they love the parade. Then we just chilled at home all day and then headed to the park for the fireworks around 9 p.m. We had never been to the fireworks here so we had no idea where the fireworks were actually shot from so I assumed they would just light them over the big empty field. I was so wrong we ended up right in front of the whole show. We were so close we could actually see them lighting the fireworks. We got a little smoke in our faces and ende up having to look straight up the whole time but we still enjoyed it. After the kids got over the loud sounds they like it alot too.

On Sunday Jessica and her family stopped by because they are moving to California for a year and a half so we had to have a last shebang before they moved. George and his family came down to the party and it was a blast. We had a BBQ "Spanish Style" and then we geared up for a great game of baseball. Of course when we got to the park the boys decided they wanted to split up boys against girls. Mind you that most of the girls had never played baseball so we didn't know all the rules.
You'd think that since it was our first time playing that the guys would have been easier on us but they weren't! The final score was guys: 15, girls: 6. Yeah I know really pathetic but we still had fun. :)
