Fourth of July

For the Fourth we started the day by going to the Lenexa, KS parade. We were a little late and had to sit in the sun, but other than that, it was great. the kids got lots of candy and loved seeing all the floats. Afterwards we just came home, had lunch an took naps so we would be ready for a long night. Overland Park hosts a firework show that is pretty great. This year we met up with friends from church and watched the fireworks together. All of our kids ran around and played together while we waited for the fireworks to start. We had a blast and it was really nice to have friends to celebrate with.

 There was 6 families including us and a total of 22 kids! (the babies are not pictured)
