Trunk or Treat

We went to our wards trunk or treat on Saturday. The kids had fun and got a little test run on their costumes. We will be going trick or treating on Halloween with the family of Tyra's bestfriend from school. They found out we do not have any family in the area and called us up to invite us. I am still surprised at how welcoming and kind the people in Kansas have been. We have always been truly blessed to find wonderful, kind friends wherever we have moved.:)

Also this last week Tyra had her first sleepover. Her friend Naomi from school came over and they had a blast. I forgot to take pictures though. :( They painted each other's nails( making a huge mess), they had pillow fights, played board games, mad cookies and I made them banana pancakes as was tradition in my house growing up. So all in all it was a great success.
