Tax Refund

Well for the first time ever Brent and I were able to file our taxes. Let me tell you it couldn't have arrived at a better time. We now have insurance through Brent's school so we have to pay for the doc and hospital bills on our own instead of having medicaid pay for everything. We had no idea how we were going to make it until we got our taxes back. We ended up having enough to pay of all our credit cards off completely and pay for our Doc. and hospital bills and finally get a second vehicle. It was getting a little harder on me to walk Kai to school seeing as I have to waddle now and it's always so cold! So here is a pic of all our little splurges we've gotten with our money. I think we officially have everything we need for the arrival of the babe so we are both relieved to have all our ducks in order! Yay

We ended up getting another van because an SUV was too expensive.
It's a 2002 Chrysler Voyager and has 60K on it so it should last us awhile. Oh and it has four doors so I don't have to crawl all the way through to buckle Jayden.:)

This is our new crib. Our old one was not about to make it through another baby. I got it at target on sale for $120 with the matress thrown in for FREE! The bedding I got off ebay for $30. Usually crib bedding runs from $80-$1200 so it was definitely a steal! It came with a diaper holder, comforter, sheet, bed skirt, bumper, other holder thing, curtains and pillow!

  2. wow!! You guys scored big on your return! Ours this year wasn't great, but it wasn't so bad either...we always usually splurge (ie: pay off cars/school/etc) with our returns...Cute bedding!!!!!
