Christmas Tree

We put our christmas tree last weekend but I forgot to blog until now. We were supposed to put it up the day after Thansgiving but were too tired so we waited until the next day. We needed to make room for the tree but we had a huge entertainment center in the living room so I used this time as an excuse to buy ourselves a flatscreen. Brent and I have wanted one forever, but couldn't afford it but we decided we deserved a good christmas gift to ourselves so I went out and bought one. We thought attaching it to the wall would be easy but when you don't have a stud finder it's a little harder than expected. Three hours later we had moved all the furniture out and finally secured the TV to the wall. Then we still had to put up the tree. Brent and I were pooped but the kids were so excited... so up the tree went. When we got it up we realized two of the strands of lights didn't work so we couldn't use them. We strung up half the lights then stopped for the day. The next day I went out to buy more lights and we were finally able to finish it. SO all in all it was a three day experience, but we love it and the kids were patient with their unprepared mommy and daddy. :)
